I think Jemarcus is pretty much a lock...but I like to hear other's opinions.

As the self proclaimed #1 Raider fan in TX, I would like to think they will take Russell, but peterson is a great possability. There are some really good QB's on the market this year. Personnaly I would like to get David Carr or Joey Harrington. The best thing that could happen to the Raiders is Al Davis dropping dead, not that I would wish that upon him but...

If the Raiders are smart they would trade down to about the 10 spot and pick up Levi brown, allowing them to start running the ball. They already have a great defense, so that isn't a problem, with an o-line pick picks 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 w/ a wide reciever their team could bounce back quite well. That being said, they probably will take Jamarcus Russell.

Raiders need a good RB. So I am guessing Peterson. They will need a QB, but they need a veteran QB at this point. So I dont think Jamarcus will be the choice. Then again, Al Davis is a moron. So may he will take another rookie QB and no O-Line. I say get Trent Green for 1 year, and get some O-line in second round

If the Oakland Raiders didnt have such a horrible qb i would say Calvin Johnson. He is clearly the best player in this draft but the raiders desperately need a qb and for that reason i say jamarcus rusell will go first beacause BRADY QUINN IS OVERRATTED AND HE IS NOT A GOOD QB AND WILLO NEVER BE ONE

its either jamarcus or calvin johnson. i know they have moss and porter but you simply can not turn down calvin johnson. but the smart thing to do with the raiders is to get a better OLine if not joe thomas, or levi brown. trade around and get more picks.

i say JaMarcuss Russel because the Raiders need a QB and Brady Quinn isn't what they are looking for. if not JaMarcuss (which i am positive he will) it will be a QB.
