They said they would be back for the money tomorrow and would charge interest.

You don't give a lot of details..but I would assume you might have a legal partner who may have incurred this debt. If this is the case and he/she gave your address the only thing you could do is to contest the bill. You don't say if they presented you with official papers from the court to seize the goods. You could call the police and have them charged with theft if you say you don't owe anyone money. Bit difficult without all the facts.

if this is a payday loan company call the police !!!they r not allowed to come to ur home , harrass you or scare u into paying, some of these so called collectors dont even work for the company that u owe the money to.

No, leave the country - seriously if you owe money you need to sort it they can be quite nasty regardless of what the law is concerning loan sharks - if they want the cash they will get it

Yeah. That happened to me today as well. They took my computer, now I can't answer questions on Y/A. I blame the Government.
