We have started two wars and as far as I can see everyone just hates us more because of them. Maybe there is a reason people want to kill us. Anyone have any speculation on that?
Terrorism is provoked, people don't just get up and say they are going to kill other people. So now us Americans must ask ourselves, what provoked the terrorism against us, and why can we stop it with more hotheaded controversial acts?
You can be safe without starting a war people.

Yeah, I believe something should be done to defend against them, but don't go on the offense. Strengthen homeland security and be ready for an attack, but maybe if we stopped meddling in other countries's affairs that do not concern us then there might be less terrorism.

Hey, its a theory, but if it stops terrorism, its worth a try, right?

The war in Iraq, so our solution to terrorism is to go and fight a bunch of people who had nothing to do with 9/11 and probably didn't care about us one way or another before we invaded them?

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That means then when you attack someone, they attack you back. SO as .long as we continue to attack more countries, more will continue to attack us. 9/11, I agree was unprovoked...but I have my own theory as to how that came to be.

Lead the world by example. Instead of being world police and crashing down on everyone, we should be showing the world that America is a great country and that we are all very moral and good. So, how do we do that when we are going around killing people?

It goes back a few blunders in 1953 when US intelligence(???) saw to the overthrow of the leader in Iran, eventually making way for the Iatollah to bring it on. And how MrBushSr & Clinton sanctioned Iraq-the details are revolting. I think the motto is 'Start terrorism to make wars to create totalitarianism orNWO'.

OK. It is apparent that you are on to something. We really started the terrorism. We built the world trade center Which any self respecting terrorist would want to knock down. I got it.
Maybe if we brought all our troops back home and destroyed all our weapons and just made a happy life for ourselves the terrorists would calm down and leave us alone.
Have you consulted a history book recently? Those people have been at war with someone or other since recorded history.
Do you have any speculation on that?

"In Islam, a holy war; a war ordained by God. The Koran teaches that soldiers who die in jihad go to heaven immediately".

"Modern-day terrorists often claim that they are carrying out acts of destruction, such as the attacks on the World Trade Center towers, as part of a jihad".

During WWII , we didn't say that killing Nazi's would make more Nazi's . Someone has to take a stand against world terrorism . This attack on American soil that killed over 3,000
human beings , going about their lives peacefully , didn't begin in the U.S. Terrorists made a vow to kill all infidels . Unless you are one of them - that means you , too .
In your way of thinking , because Bill Clinton ignored it when the terrorists struck the WTC , on his watch..9/11 shouldn't have happened , should it ? But it did . Brave men and women , under their Commander in Chief George W.Bush , have kept us from another attack - and are keeping dangerous terrorists on the run , and stopping the spread of more .Let them do their jobs , will you ?

What provoked terrorism against us is the global growth of all countries. Differences in government are bound to collide. On top of that is our religious differences, and the terrorists will and always have been fixed on destroying the infidel(s) wherever they may be.

Hopefully, extremists will suffer many set backs in their upcoming militaristic campaigns, and moderate Muslims will have an opportunity to take charge of their land.
I know there has to be Muslims out there that will eventually feel that enough Arab blood has been shed. It will be time to stop the fighting.

By not taking the fight to the terrorists only gives the terrorists more room to operate and time to build and finance their operations.

the main direct reason grew to become into the Roman empire forcing Christianity on each and all of the international so human beings in those countries the two began a war to eliminate the christians or use terrorist tactics to combat off the invading Christians. and clearly you would be unable to excuse the Muslim extremists because of the fact they're in basic terms evil, yet Christianity did start up all this.

"Provocation"??? What did 3000 innocent people do to provoke the terrorism that ended their lives on September 11th? Their murderers were motivated by their extremist understanding of the Koran (go look up the work JIHAD) not by some terrible crime committed by Americans.

Their chants of "Death to America" spawn from their hatred of any world view besides their own, and were bedrock to their beleifs long before we took any military action.
Wake up.

You can't. No one can really ever end terrorism, but by taking away some of their hiding places you can slow them down. You can't end it by hiding at home waiting for them to come to you. I'd rather fight them in the desert than at the world trade center.

If planet earth, goes on..... for a million years or more.
This rule will never change.

Heres a newsflash.......There are no Unicorns, wood nymphs or good fairies. There ARE evil terrorists that started something, and we need to give it to them even harder than we are now.
