I have mostly felt really sick to my stomach with little vomiting so far. For the last 3 or 4 weeks I feel sooooo sick. I throw up all the time. I thought that I was suppose to start feeling better by now not worse! All day my life consists of trying to keep my food down. Any advise?

Oh I know exactly how you feel. I though at the end of the first trimester that my morning sickness would stop too, but it really didn't until 16 weeks of pregnancy. Every woman is different so you may stop sooner or even later, hopefully sooner for your sake. Until then, just keep trying to avoid having an empty stomach, eat your meals very slowly, also try some ginger snaps or ginger ale, they both helped me. One thing that also made me feel a little better is that knowing that having morning sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy. Good luck and I hope it ends soon for you.

Same with me, also 13 weeks. It's different for everyone. It may stop in the next week or two (holding thumbs maybe we'll get lucky!) or you may suffer from it for the rest of your pregnancy.

Sip on very hot or very cold drinks it will calm your stomach some. You've heard all the advice I'm sure, but try munching on crackers or plain biscuits during the day, as soon as your stomach gets empty the nausea gets worse. Just don't over eat, or you'll get sick from that too. I try to eat a cracker or two in the morning before getting out of bed, that stops the early morning heaving over the porcelein bowl.

I also find icy cold watermelon cubes very effective in the battle against the sickness. When you feel very sick, eat a few cubes (not slices... too big will make you feel sick), and see if it works.

Good luck, I hope it stops soon.

Well, most women are different...i am 20 wks. pregnant and still sometimes get sick! The first 3 months, i vomited morning ,noon, and night...so it has eased up alot. My mom on the other hand, was violently ill the entire 9 months with my little sister(who is now 25 yrs. old)! She had to be hospitalized for dehydration several times. This is my 4th pregnancy, so i don't expect my nausea to last too much longer from prior experience, but thank God i did'nt take after my mother! I know it really sucks, and i've had to battle it too (Still do!), but it will get better. Mine started to decrease by week 16. It's all worth it in the end when you get to hold your little one. I hope yours will soon! Good luck to you! P.S. Your Doc can give you an RX to help with the nausea...i was on Promethazine.

I was sick till 18 weeks, and then again from 32 weeks... I tried all the advices people gave me, the only one that worked {but don't expect miracles, it will make you feel better, but probably won't stop the morning sicknesses completely} was B6 supplement. You can buy it in grocery or drug store. Don't worry, you will feel better eventually. I remember days, when I would fall asleep on the bathroom floor, because I threw up so much I was afraid to leave.

Usually for some women it stops once you enter your second trimester. But every pregnancy is different as is every woman. Some women have morining sickness during their entire pregnancy.

I'm in my second trimester and still have morining sickness but b/c I was throwing up so much my dr. prescribed me zophran to help ease the nausea so I could actually eat and have a heatlthy pregnancy and gain the weight I need.

Inform your dr. cuz u don't want to become dehyrdrated from throwing up so much like I did. Try eating small and drinking liquids between meals instead of with meals. Also see if your dr. can prescribe you anything.

Good Luck and Congrats.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and my morning sickness stopped when I was about 18 weeks. Hold on a little longer and everything will work out. When you start to feel sick, eat a few crackers and it should help. Good Luck!!

Well, I think that everyone is different. I, for instance, had morning sickness for 8 months with both of my pregnancies. I would absolutely do again too. My girls are my whole universe and I don't know how I would ever live without them.
Hope that helps!

Generally after the 1st 3 months. But it might not go away. I had morning sickness every day, including the day I went into labor.

i had morning sickness through my whole pregnancy ..... I found out though in the morning when you wake up no matter how bad you have to pee .... just set there and have yourself about 6 or 7 seven saltine crackers . this will help soothe your tummy . cause once you get up and start moving around so does all the acid build up ... that partly what makes you sick ..... so eat your crackers and drink your water and relax in bed for about 15 minutes ..... and iam not saying that this worked every day .... but it helped me out alot .. good luck

Unfortunately there is not much you can do, I was really sick from 6-16 weeks and then it started getting much better. Everyone is different-I hope you feel better soon!
