I also think that it depends on your husband. if his job is people intensive then he may want some down time to transition from work to home. he may want dinner or just to spend time with you. just observe what he does when he get home,

Give him time to "wind down" from work without launching into your day. Have him change into non work clothes and let him have about 15 minutes to either tell you about his day or just download into relaxation mode. Always wait to tell him about your particular day and any crises you may have had. Listen, Listen, Listen and then he will listen to you and respond in a more positive manner. Does he have a favorite drink? Then have it ready when he walks in the door. Men love that.

Depends on what he'd like. I know I'd like to receive a kiss, a backrub, some dinner and time to be with my partner but that certainly couldn't be an everyday thing. Good luck and don't go overboard. He may want downtime.

What are you sweetening him up for? lol. Well dinner ready, you dressed nice, and maybe some physical attention. I don't know, my guy would want cold beer and the remote control handed to him, buy me with no clothes on, lol. What is something that he shows you he appreciates? that would be the direction to go in.

He likes to know his hard work is appreciated by asking how his day has been, and listening to his stories of how he worked through the day, having time to give him in companionship, letting him take the lead as you Liston. there are no power struggles, and understanding he really does give you the treasures of his love.

Just be there for him. Whether he wants dinner, his back rubbed, someone to confide in or someone to just sit quietly near by is all a personal preference that nobody else can tell you. But, to just be there for whatever is reassuring.

I don't know your husband, but my husband loves to be massaged. Perhaps you could greet him with a kiss and a back rub. Good luck. Thanks.
