There was a black version of Pollyana done by Disney that aired on tv years ago (late 80's). Keisha Knight Pulliam was the lead and Phylicia Rashad was in it. It was a musical. Does anyone know where I can get it on DVD or download it. It's probably locked up in the "Disney Vault" somewhere.

Well, if it's locked up then that begs the question why? I love it when they do multiple race variations of 'classics'. The world is not all white but the majority of movies, dolls, etc. are. When my girls were young, I bought them African American dolls jsut as often as I bought the caucasion ones.

I have always wondered if they'd put that on dvd too. It's actually a good movie.

I remember that, but I don't know where to get it from. Try ebay.
