Planes definitely hit the WTC. After that, whatever happened is inconsequential.
The fact is, the most powerful country in the world was left powerless to do anything about it - their leaders didn't do anything to stop it despite being warned repeatedly about the threat that Al Queda posed.
The Air Force was running war games (strangely enough using the scenario of a hijacked plane) and couldn't stop it.
Meanwhile, Dubya sat in a classroom in Florida reading 'my pet goat'. Even after he was informed about what was going on, he continued to sit there with a glazed look on his face.
That look will live forever in infamy.

Sometimes the subconscious tells us a truth, but it is wrong in the details. Why was there an apparently concerted effort to ignore signs and warnings of an impending attack on America? To give the US an excuse to invade the middle east perhaps?

My personal favorite "The government hides things from us".... yes of course they do. There are things you don't need to know, but they keep things from us in the matters of national security to protect us not to kill us.
