When I was pregnant with my first baby, she stayed high all the way to the end. I did a lot of walking during my pregnancy, but that didn't make the baby drop. When I was dialated and ready for her to come out she still didn't drop and I had to push very hard til' she finally dropped down and came out, a beautiful baby girl! I wouldn't push now, I'd wait until you are fully dialated. You may do some damage if you try now.

Walking really helps. I walked 1/2 hr. a day 4-5 x's a week throughout all my pregnancies. All 3 of my labours were 3 hr & less plus I had them a week earlier. Walking is good to continue after the baby as well.

Congrats on your baby! Enjoy the priceless gift of love!

My son just dropped about a week ago, so I wouldn't worry to much! Walking or using a birthing ball is supposed to help the baby drop down! Some women don't drop until they go into labor!

The 'drop' should happen soon.

We have found it helpful to walk a lot during late term labor.

No need to worry, when it's time to come out and it hasn't dropped... you'll just have to push a little more!

it won't happen until it happens. you could try walking. But remember, it's not a prerequisite to labor.
