American Idol ?????

Question

Dang! I missed the last two night episodes of American Idol? Can anyone please fill me with a bit of detail of who the think was great and who may be voted off?

Tuesday night:
Blake did a great job. He started a bit off key, but once he got into it he sounded great. And he added in a bit of beat box.
Chris R sang a country song. I'm not too fond of him, nor did I like his song choice. But I have to give him props because at least he sang on key the whole time.
Chris S was just as good as previous weeks. I like him, he's got talent. The judges didn't think it was as good as last week but they were glad he was sticking to his style.
Phil was horrible and he looked like a 70 yr old man with the stupid hat he wore (and he sounded like one too).
Sundance screamed through yet another song. Pitty too, I thought he had his talent back after last week.
Sanjaya was himself. We all know he needs to go. He knows it, the judges know it, we're all just waiting. He's a sweet kid, very humble, he just hasn't come into his own yet.
The other guys... I can't even remember their performances... not worth it.
Wednesday night
Jordin had a great upbeat song that wasn't as "sweet" as songs past. I thought she did a great job.
Sabrina was ok, though it wasn't her best. I still think she has a great voice.
Stephanie was ok, but she screamed through most of her song.
Simon told Haley that he couldn't remember her name because her songs were so forgettable. And that they are. She just didn't put any personality into her song.
Gina... well... Gina should be praised for finally choosing a song that shows who she is - edgy. She sang an evanessance song and it sounded terrible. She was flat the whole time and not always with the music. Plus it was a terrible arrangement. But you could tell she was having a great time!
Lakisha sang Whitney and blew us away with her wonderful voice, yet again. And she looked very radiant as well. I just wish she wouldn't look so petrified when she faced the judges... she really does have a geat voice.
Melinda did fabulous as always. I think she's beginning to accept the fact that she actually can sing!

Guys night mini recap:

The worst -

Sundance tries to be like Chris Daughtry and sang a rock song. But, he ain't no Chris Daughtry. He kind of screamed through it, and his voice was abrasive - akin to fingernails on a chalkboard.

The most shocking -

Surprisingly, Chris R busts out a country song, but still somehow manages to sound like Keith Urban and Justin Timberlake's love child.

The best -

Blake, as usual. The rest were forgettable. What were their names again?

Girl's night mini recap:

The worst-
Antonella sang a decent song completely off key and off beat the whole time, and those were the good points. Week after week she tears decent songs to shreds, and acts cocky and suprised when the judges wonder why she's still here (along with the rest of the freaking country), and this week was no exception.

The most shocking:

Jordin sings a rock song made before she was born, and does quite well at it. Pat Benetar's "Heartbreaker."

The best-

Little meek and shy Melinda turns into a tiger on stage with her performance of "I'm a Woman." She receives a standing ovation. Randy thought it was hot, Simon said "100 million percent garanteed you'll be back next week," and Paula said she was "flawless."

I think the top 12 after tonight will be, in no certain order:

1. Melinda
2. Lakisha
3. Jordin
4. Gina
5. Sabrina

I think they'll send Haley home as first pick. The last two called on stage will be Antonella and Stephanie. It just may be the most shocking elimination ever, and Antonella will stay. She's got both the pity vote, and the guys-thinking-with-the-wrong-head vote. Not to mention the ratings boost. They do a "shocking" elimination every year, like the sun rising in the east.

I think Sanjaya will be sent packing right away. The last two on stage will be Jarad and Brandon. They're both equally bad, so that's anyone's guess. Among the guys, it's like the "who sucks the least" competition.

Well, all I can say about the men's performances is.......YAWN! I cannot believe how little talent there is on the boys side this year. At this point I would say that Blake, Chris Richardson & Chris Sligh are "in the running". Sanjaya needs to GO HOME tonight. I wasn't sure if that was him or his sister up there singing, either way, he should have gone home last week!

The women, as always, brought it! Lakisha and Melinda were amazing. I had chills the entire time both of them were performing. Not many people can pull off a Whitney Houston song, but Lakisha blew it out. Melinda just amazes me every week. You don't expect that much power and control to come out of that girl. I really wish that she would do a Tina Turner song. She reminded me last night of a young Tina Turner (when she was still Anna May). As far as who needs to go home.......ANTONELLA!!!! That girl is dreadful! She may be alright to look at, but she makes my dog howl! And her funky little attitude & eye rolling when the judges talk to her (Simon especially) just makes me want to slap the $hit out of her. You suck girl! (and I don't just mean the singing). The other one that needs to go home is Haley Scarnato. She just sounds like a wedding singer to me. I had to agree with Simon last night, I didn't even remember her name!

The guys SUCKED big time, hon. Chris is such a cutie and so is Blake. I think they are awsome. Blake' s beat boxing thing is so hott! Sinjaya, Chris, Blake, and Phil were good. Sundance really needs to be kicked off, like now.

As for the ladies, Stephanie, Gina, and LaKisha are totally amazing! Stephanie sounds like Beyonce. All of the other ones were ok but they were better than the guys. The ladies kicked butt! Woot woot!

I think Sundance and Hayley are getting kicked off.

Oh yeah, and there was this really funny thing that Randy said. He said that you have to have the "Yo Factor" to be good. LOL. Don't ask. Long story short, Randy just bein his original gangsta self. Right on!

The boys were really disappointing. Blake and the Chris's were the only good ones. Sanjaya is straightened his hair and may be voted off and Sundance is back to the horrible song choice.

The Girls did better. Jordin and Melinda are hot! (their singing is hot not the looks). Antonella is still sucking and Haley's going home most likely.

The girls rocked the house, the guys, not so much. Blake Lewis, Chris Sligh, and Sundance head were the best of the guys. I think that it is time for Sanjaya Malakar and Brandon Rodgers to go home. Most of the girls did great. Lakisha sang a Whitney Houston song and didn't get in trouble for it, they thought she sang good. I think Antonella and Haley will go home tonight. Simon told Antonella that he didn't have any advice for her but to sing better and really doesn't think she can. And Simon couldn't even remember Haley's name and either did it, it is time for her to go home too.

Guys pretty much ALL sucked. Blake and Chris W were the only 2 decent ones. Girls, Antonella and Haley were bad. Melinda ROCKED!!!!!
