Anyone know where i can find a small plot of free hold land for a small holding??? everything on the web seems to be these daft fields devided up into scores of plots hoping for planning permission.
I want an out of the way plot to use it for what it was ment for.

Try contacting some of the rural Estate Agents/Auctioners - they get farms coming up for sale/rent, the house and a few acres in one lot, and the rest of the land split into other lots.

I've got 10 square metres of olive grove for sale if you are interested but it's in Spain. Could be a bit of journey for you. It has a well for part of the year though, and planning permission to build a small house.

You could start with an allotment. Contact your local council first.
