Every section has a 'top 10' list. So for every category and subcategory there are ten 'top contributors'.
By my count there are a total of 300 top-ten lists. Which, if there is no overlap (I'm sure there's plenty), means there are as many as three thousand 'top contributors'. Which is why I refer to this secret group as 'The Three-Thousand'.
That's a lot of cookies!
Some of the lists require as little as two best answers to get on... some require several thousand. A diverse group, to say the least. Meetings will be interesting. ( :

A top contributer is a person who has answeared the most questions in any one particular field. It is a good thing to be a top contributer. Congratulations for your successful answears. Keep it going

I know I just discovered this today too! Mine says to music so I guess its bc I answer so many questions related to music and thats also where most of my best answers come from.
