. The problem with internet dating is that people can make up crap and when you meet them in public they could be totally different. But they could also be totally sweet too. That's why if you do want to meet someone you met online in the real world, you shouldn't go alone in case they aren't what they said they were online.

its immature. For youngsters who cannot carry on an actual relationship. With self-confidence you can carry on an actual relationship.

Also, you should be very careful with online dating, you can't always trust who your chatting with, never meet anyone in person that you met online, thats another reason online dating usually doesn't work out, they never see eachother!

My sister found a great boyfriend by online dating. You have to be careful, but you also have to be careful when you date in real life so.... Why not?

I would say no. There are a lot of creeps out there. Unless you already know the person, don't do it. Ever watched the movie, 'Hard Candy'? Watch it and you'll see.
