more calculating when looking for a partner than most men?

I think it depends on who's doing the "programming" - my mum always told me to be study hard so I could be financially independent, and not have to depend on anyone else. So I did, and I don't go into relationships looking for a man who can provide!

On the other hand, there are lots of girls out there who can be classed as "gold-diggers", and who are in relationships just for the money. Or women who turn a blind eye to their husbands cheating on them because they want to keep their comfortable lifestyle. I don't judge this behaviour as right or wrong, because I guess you could say it really depends on the main influences on a girl as she is growing up.

When I got divorced some time back (I left my hubby for emotional reasons), I actually signed the whole house over to him, and walked away with the debts, so he could get back on his feet. His solicitors actually advised me against this, but for me, you can't put a price on freedom or finding the right romance. It's up to each individual (male or female).

Definitely yes but I don't think men have particularly 'romantic' thoughts either when looking for their partners, they're calculating availability and t&a factor, I would therefore conclude that as female calculations result in long term relationship and babies with partner, their motives are infact marginally more romantic than mens'

I know of two women who's main aim in life is to get a man with his own home, flash car and pots of money, when I asked them about the love they just laughed and said not important but money is, how very sad, I would rather have a man who was penniless as long as he loved me and thank god I choose my hubby, hes never had much money but hes always given me a whole lot of love and romance.

Depends how many kids they already have to provide for,
most men are governed by what hangs between their legs and it appears that is where they keep their brain too.

If this were a BLACK question, you would get reported. However, it's only about females (half of the human race) so you will get away with it.

I think it depends how desperate they are i imagine. older women who want children and their bio clock is ticking away are the worst but then its all natural instincts.

Yes, but I've never met one that was like that.
All I see and meet are skanks.
