...hollywood producing an upcoming film about the life of Brian Boru? am i right in being just a little apprehensive and worried about the direction they are going to take it in, plus its widely rumoured that leonardo Dicaprio will play the man himself !!!! are they serious!!!

It really depends on who is in charge of the project. It could be OK, but I have very little faith in Hollywood to not ruin anything associated with History anymore.

Well, the thought of DiCaprio playing him does send a shiver down my spine. But that being said, it would be great to see Brian Boru become as well know as William Wallace. I don't expect any film to be that true to history but if it was a good film I'd be happy. I mean after all, how many people know anything about the man right now? That should change.
