I'm looking into buying a used Dodge Ram 4X4, but it has 110,000 miles on it, and it's only $6000, everything is running good, and it's being sold at a dealership so they have a warranty backing it up; what I would like to know is, is the truck or car worth buying if it has over 100,000 miles on it? And how long will it last me??

I would contact the previous owner and talk with them ( if possible ) to see how the truck was maintained. most vehicles are designed to go way over 200,000 with proper maintenance such as fluid changes (engine, transmission, rear axel and even brake fluid) all which require proper maintenance schedules. you can get a pretty good history on a vehicle thru www.carfax.com

Easily a decent buy. Most Dodge Ram 4x4 will get 200,000 to 250,000 miles without much problem. Check for rust by fenders and underbody. some on the last half of the exaust is fine. find out if there has been a recent tuneup. if not negotiate one into the price. if you have time keep looking there can be some better deals out there but keep an eye on this one. Good luck. :)
