I got a naval peircing wuite awhile ago and now it is healed and I want to change the ring. The one I have in is a barbell with a ball on each end, and the top one unscrews. My trouble is that it is apparently screwed on too tight (I think) and I cant unscrew it, Ive tried but dont want to force it and risk slipping and opening the wound...? any suggestions? Thanks y'all!

Try loosening it while you are in the shower.

Any piercing studio can change jewelry. Go to one and have it done professionally. Or get someone else to do it. If you want to do it yourself make sure that you don't have any lotion or anything on your hands that may make them slippery. And make sure that you're turning it in the right direction.

Get someone else to try and remove it.. Or get a small thing of pliers and twist it off carefully..
