Make sure it is at a good temperature. You want it hot enough. Wait until it is fully heated before you use it.
And yes there are products that help. I have a spray from Bedhead. but if you simply look, like at Wal-Mart or something you'll find more. Look for the ones specifically for heat iron use.
Make sure you aren't doing too big of a section at a time. You need the heat to reach every strand. If you put too much in it, some won't get the heat.
And make sure you are doing reasonably slow strips. If you whip the iron through your hair too fast it won't last.

Get some straightening balm or some kind of straightening product to put in your hair before straightening. This should really help to smooth it out. You can purcase these from shops such as boots or superdrug

authentic once you're having a shower towel try your hair till finally its damp and than take some hair straightening syrum you will get it very almost everywhere fructise or organic essences is super and placed some quarter volume length on your hand and placed it on your hair. use a comb to combination all of it in. than utilising a around brush blow dry your hair promptly as available and than straighten and that's particularly helpful to place a tad or hairspray on the comb and brush it by as your straightening... wish i helped.. GOODLUCK!! xoalex
