so you do not have to rub it on burn first aid spray from the drugstore is great, it will sting a little at first but the pain reliever will kick in after a few seconds and it will help heal sooner too.some have aloe Vera.

Well a thick lotion that is oil based can trap the heat that your body is releasing from the sun burn. You can use a cheap water based lotion, it will be watery and runny. Your best bet is to stick with aloe, excpecially at night. Also some kool showers, not too warm. They also make an aloe vera lotion/ After sun type of thing, you can get it at walmart.

You can use regular body lotion, however lotion with vitamin E would be the best. My sister got burnt a few years ago (not sun burn) with 3rd degree burns and that's what the doc prescribed to her. Use lotion with vitamin E in it for burns... I use it on my sunburns and it works wonderfully... Good Luck!!

I would prefer something that has xylocaine in it, like Solarcaine, for the pain!
