We are all basically Cro-Magnons.

And I'm surprised how many people don't know the difference between Cro-Magnons and Neanderthals.

The guys from the GEICO commercials? They're supposed to be Neanderthals. Cro-Mags looked closer to you and me.

If you were to bring back a cro-magnon from the stone age, dress him up in contemporary clothes, you wouldn't notice anything unusual (except that he may be a little more rugged, but nothing striking).

Wouldn't that be French-American or Franco-American. Cro-Magnon relates to an area in France where a prehistoric human fossil was found.
