It buttons down the front only to the crotch and with a walking motion could reveal too much. Thus something is needed underneath!

Back in the day (80's) I used to wear leggings with my shirt dresses. I think they may be back in style. Good luck.

Leggings are on their way out! I wouldn't invest in them. Pants that are fitted will have to work. You can do skinny pants, bootleg, or capris in the spring and summer.
