Reason for divorce is not only cheating amounting to adultery but there are other grounds also on which the decree of divorce can be granted to the parties. So by saying if Indian women are faithful, why do they go for divorce, only shows that if their being faithful makes them a slave of the system that they should not ask for divorce even if other harms are inflicted on them that can be harmful to their physical as well mental health. No person wants divorce unless the circumstances so call for it. Do you know the mental agony a person goes through the period of divorce proceedings that makes him/her think hundred times to remarry again after getting decree of divorce or not. All want a peaceful matrimonial life but if there is infringement in their peaceful matrimonial life they have to get rid of it. Being faithful doesn’t disqualifies the legal right of any Indian women to seek divorce if need be.

First of all Indian women divorces are not because of the couple becuase of the inlaws.

Secondly Indian women did not come from a different planet. There are morons in every culture, there are good people in every culture.

So this is not a good arguement. By the divorce in India is not too much compared to the west but it is fast catching up. It is happening because of the inlaws mostly and the greedy lawyers who are within the family who would say when things go wrong "Hey you dont worry i will get divorce for you!!!"

Faith has nothing to do with divorce. You could divorce cause of an abusive husband, bad inlaws, horrible living conditions and many such reasons which shake the very existance of your life. I dont personally believe in divorce but I would choose that anytime over an abusive relationship. Some things are just not worth putting up with.

Not only indian but women from all continent are faithful. Ok not all but most of them are. It cud be different reasons for each divorce cases but the major factor i think cud be intefering in-laws and husband two timing them with another. It not only happens in India but throughout the world. Why they opt for divorce - well maybe they had enough and can't take it anymore. U know its thier life too. They are entitle to their feelings. How long shud a women (no matter which part of the world she may be from) continue taking **** after **** from thier man, in-laws, childrens.

Divorce rate in India was 1.1% at some point of time when it was around 50% in some western country.

The percentage was higher in the urban areas. These are the reagions where alomost all the love marraiges take place and western culture as rooted itself.

I've read your earlier questions too. It seems you just wanna make a point against Indians. I maybe wrongly manipulating your questions, but that's what I felt.

God bless you...

Broken marriages in India are less than 1%. Human beings cannot be compelled for a forcible marital life. There is no concept of divorce in Hinduism. Hindu marriages are performed between their souls (not bodies) in heaven (not upon earth) in presence of 330 million gods and goddesses. Indian Government enacted Hindu Marriage Act in 1955 and created a chance for divorce to be granted by secular courts. Despite such legislations and courts' divorce judgements/decrees, their spiritual wedlock remains intact being eternal, everlasting and unbreakable even in future rebirths. Despite marriage with others after divorce, wife continues Ardhangini (half body) of her former husband and he continues her Pati Parmeshwar (Lord).
In Islam divorce is the most worst among permissible. In unavoidable circumstances only there may be a divorce.

Hinduism is enriched with the teachings of Niyoga (impregnating wives through pious persons) and Suttee (burning widow alive on funeral pyre of dead body of husband), though practised rarely present days. Indian women go for divorce in very compelling situations and not for fun.

I'd say in India 95% would be faithful. Rest 5% may deceive for money or something else.

What if the husband decieve the faithful woman? should she sit in a corner bearing him? Is it not wise to throw him out of her life n make a happy life for her?
