I am talking about them being in danger. Just a generic man. Because I hate child abuse, molestation, and woman abuse. I am a man who hates that and I will a kill a person or animal that tries to hurt a woman or child.

No. Just because somone is hurting one person you do not have teh right to hurt that person. You do have a right to help that person who is gettign hurt. Ex a child getting molested, you should report it right away, a woman getting beat, you should report that too. Unless there is immediate danger to these other people I would be careful. The law can bite you in the ***, even if there were no criminal charges brought against you, the person who you hurt could file a civil suit against you.

If you act without proovable cause, you are breaking the law. You can't use any more force than what you need to prevent the cat from occuring. In other word s , you see someone fooling with a child and can stop it by removing the child or preventing the child from being fooled with, you cant just pull out a 45 and blast him/her away. Simple assault on a woman is tricky too. Maybe she hit him and is a beater. Just because a man and a woman are in a toussle doen't allow you to think she's in trouble. He could be . So unless you want to keep watch and see that a toussle doesn't escalate into a death match don't be too quick to jump into the ring with either unless it's to sepparate them. You go into a situation like that with the idea of killing you better be ready to take the consequences.

I for one agree totally. Most law enforcement agree with you too. Just a few days ago here in Mississippi a man pulled his pistol on another man for stabbing his wife. ( the one doing the stabbing was married to the woman, so not to be confused). The man with the pistol, in the public parking lot, told the asalient if he so much as made one movement he would start shooting and not stop. He was conscidred a hero. So yes if a man is protecting someone else no matter if it's a woman or child, that person should be commended

Yes, and you do have this right. So long as a life was in danger you are justified in homicide. As far as homicide for abuse, no the courts should not allow vigilantism. At that point all someone would have to do is make a false accusation of abuse and get away with murder and also because we must retain innocence until proven guilty. It is the foundation of our country.

That being said I would kill somebody who molested my child and they would never find the body.

Edit: To anoldmick, That's dumb. I am a woman and by no means a weenie. I own guns and know how to shoot. I am also trained in defense tactics. Somebody bigger and badder can always whoop your butt. I am not opposed to anyone physically protecting me. I wish more men felt that way.

Yea, if someone was trying to rape my girlfriend or hurt her or whatever I would do really bad things to him. I think we should have the right to protect them but in america the criminals have all the rights so you would just have to let them do whatever they want and then try and take them to court.

I think you do have the right to step in and help someone in danger. Probably on impulse, If you plan it and get got , that's 1rst degree murder.

Why, you think a woman automatically needs your "protection"? I think women need protected from self-righteous egotists too. And I think they need to be permitted to take care of themselves. You think you're better than my wife, a trained marksman and a veteran? I suggest you update your health insurance before trying to demonstrate that misconception!
