Which is the best biscuit to dunk in tea/coffee. should it be plain, with chocolate, with a filling or with with out.

My favorite is a Tim Tam which looks a bit like a Penguin but much better you bite the diagonal corners off and suck the tea like a straw until u feel the tea coming through and then pop it in your mouth it melts instantly and tastes amazing.

I don't do the caffiene thing (it's bad for your skin, really aging) but I am partial to a dunk of a biscuit in some full fat milk (yeh I know tea IS probably healthier but never mind). The best biscuits for this purpose are fair trade chococlate cookies, available at most co-ops(unless you have a crappy tiny one) and as a life long cookie coneissour I have finally found the 'perfect' chocolate chip cookie, AND I get to feel good about buying them because they are fair trade! It used to be quite common on a saturday to see me throwing an absolute mental in the local shop as they had ran out of them again, and the weekends when my daughter goes to her dads and I am left with a quiet house and a good book were just MADE for the dunking experience!
These days though, they know me quite well (I am embarassed to say that they used to call me 'nikki' in that shop after that girl from big brother who throw massive tantrums, having been angered to tears yet again at the injustice of some horrible sod buying up all MY cookies!) Anyway, so there you go, fair trade chocolate chip cookies, delicious and good for third world economy.

there are only two contenders the bourbon and the plain chocolate digestive. the bourbon takes 8 strokes in hot tea whereas the digestive only 6 max because of the risk of fragmentation... i think probably the bourbon as it leaves less slop in the bottom of the cup and less choco scum floating...
