Why is it, that computer monitor (using RGB values) can recreate a near match to fluorescent red, yellow, green, blue, violet and pink but cannot recreate fluorescent orange. I have even looked on web sites that sell fluorescent markers and sites that sell black light posters and all the colors seems to look bright except the orange which always comes out darker or brown. I do black light photography and the orange never reproduces. I have equipment and software to calibrate my monitor and have seen the same results on many other monitors.

I can't say that I've ever encountered that problem. What monitor? What video card?

That's what she said...

That is a really good question. What kind of monitor are you using for this? Most likely the issue would be restricted to either CRT or LCD monitors. If it is a CRT, try it on an LCD and vice versa.
