A real Spanish bull fight at a major sports arena I mean.
Personally I can't see the point of watching a man stabbing a cow for entertainment purposes. But I shouldn't criticise cos I've never been to one. What's it really like?

I went one time, in Mexico, in 1966, the summer after I graduated high school. It was not exactly pleasant. There is a lot of blood and it was torture for the bull. I did not get the point then, and I still don't today of first inflicting pain, and eventually killing, what is basically a dumb animal. I only went because the people I was visiting did. I have never gone again.

those things are soo cruel.

basically a GROUP of men stab the bull many times with spears then shove a HUGE javelin in between it's shoulder blades.

THEN the alimighty so called BRAVE bullfighter comes out and torments it even more. they use a red cape to tease it cuz bulls see the dark color and think it is a door to get out.

then if the bull had a long fight without dying the crowd will cry out "let the bull live" but the bulls never live from all the wounds it's inflicted with.

Yes, in Sevilla and Pamplona. It's a confrontation with life and death. In Pamplona you run with the bulls chasing you. Quite thrilling. Going to the industrial slaughterhouses in the US (and other states) is were you'll find the real horror. Bulls for bullfights are treated as kings before they are ready for the arena. cows and bulls for the beef in your local supermarket and burgerjoint are treated as products. They are killed without remorse and respect for the animal. Not to be seen by outsiders. Death in the arena is a confrontation with death itself.

When I was young I went to one in Barcelona. It was pretty awful. The whole ring was red by the time it was all over.

I don't remember if all the kills were clean. That's a big deal. If they screw up the final thrust, the crowd boos while the bull thrashes around.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I wouldn't want to go to a bull fight as it seems so cruel to taunt the animal just for pleasure but it is big business in Spain and its not our right to in flicked our beliefs on the Spanish and their culture.
