I used to care how it would effect everyone but know realize what a pile this place is. So how will the DNC supposed LEG. help me?

They have been spending all this time on a NON-BINDING resolution against the war.
It affects the morale of our brave troops, and if that bothers you, the effect would be sadness for you.

Some of what will be legislation is in the investigation stages...
A lot of the businesses that have been removed from oversight during the last 6 years will get put back under scrutiny.
Specifically - the banks that issue credit are facing congress this week and explaining how they don't, after all, need to jack up interest rates on customers that have a good account history but overdue library books (or other late payment history elsewhere). Expect more concessions...
You know all those food-poisoning outbreaks...- not completely a Repub screw-up, Clinton started this one.
And those gas price run-ups...
Besides which - the War in Iraq needs attention.

Nothing. It was all vetoed by the dictator. I'm happy though. We are better off when nothing get done in Washington.
