After a great deal of extensive and exhaustive research, here is my most serious answer, to a very thought-inducing question:
'Why' is an interrogative pro-abverb used mostly in questions that are concerned with causality. Somebody asking "Why is the sky blue?" would want to know what circumstances have transpired to create the situation to make the sky appear blue.

'Why', like other interrogative words in English and other languages is created through Wh-movement syntactic transformation.

The word can also be used as a wh-island to embed clauses in questions and statements (e.g. "John wondered why she was late", "Do you know why I am angry?", or "That is why we close the gate").

According to Joseph Greenberg's linguistic universal No.12, 'why' and its equivalents in most other Subject Verb Object languages appear at the beginning of a question. Verb Subject Object languages like Tagalog and Irish always put this word at the beginning of the sentence as well, while Subject Object Verb languages like Japanese and Persian put the word at the end.

Its funny because i have had several people ask me this question over time and my answer is always the same, for me its like asking why is the sky blue and why is grass green, it just is....just like you couldnt give me a clear a detailed reason why you are attracted to females, i cant give you a clear detailed reason why im attracted to males. My reasons would be he same as yours: Because i just think they are hot!

It's in the genes, no escaping from it. You just have to accept it. What you do about it is uptoyou, but I would say live as normal a life as possible with the person you love. Doesn't matter what other people say. You can e-mail me if you like.

That's not a serious question! It's one that calls for a flippant low-blood sugar response. How about: "I was bored"?

Well, after consulting several postings here on the LGBT community forum, the answer is clear. GOD WANTS IT THAT WAY. It is in the Bible, therefore it has to be true, and all of you people who don't believe that, enjoy your time in Hell!

To correct therooster84's answer "because vibrators are for girls and video games are for guys." I strongly disagree. My girlfriend and I both love to play video games... we also HATE vibrators.
