I have a ground up custom vehicle that requires a fiberglass body. I would like to hire someone to do this. Who is a professional with experience, references and the right tools who can do this?

The answer depends upon many factors. Where are you located? About what type body are you asking? Coupe, sedan, roadster? Maybe you should just check various manufacturers that may have a body you can adapt for your purposes.

The actual work is time-consuming and VERY labor intensive. You have to make a mold or buck (using papermache, clay, cardboard and wood, plaste (most common) or any other type of solid material, shape it using various tools, grinders, saws, and other tools. Then you have to lay up the 'glass, using cloth and/or a chopped mixture of 'glass and fibers. Then you've got to separate the body from the buck, after allowing it to cure for a looooong time. Even then, you'll still have plenty of sanding and finishing to do. Unless you're experienced, I'd suggest you either forget about doing it yourself or hiring someone to do custom work and just look for a ready-made body you can adapt. There are several sources; just check the web...
