i haven't been able to figure out how to download songs off imeem; i'm in the same situation - there are songs i want there that aren't available anywhere else. when i click the link at the bottom that says "download", it just downloads imeem to my computer. but if you can figure it out, then i guess, because i've never seen anywhere that says anything about having to pay for anything. but i don't know that you can download from imeem.

if you have a line in on you mp3 player with a record feature on it you can run the audio from your computer to the line in on the mp3 player. then record. i also think there's a few programs available for download which will allow you to record onto your computer in mp3 format.
