If it was being done fairly maybe. But it's not. It all seems pretty arbitrary right now. It appears to be given to those who sit in one category and ask or answer questions, which says nothing to the validity of those questions or answers. I wonder how many trolls have just been awarded Top Contributor. And for those who answer questions across the board...nothing.

To be honest.....not really!!
I mean : nobody MADE us go on here, we're here cuz we like it, so why should yahoo recognize the top-contributors, or anyone else who helps make this site a success??
Mind you, it's nice to finally see who the top-contributors on here are.

Not really. That orange badge has turned some of the "Top Contributors" into stuck up ******* who won't stop pointing it out to everyone. Good for you!

It feels good to have recognition but I'm not so sure about a bright orange badge just sitting there on your name ID.
Now other people'll have to try and take the tags from us if they want them! (good luck taking away my Swimming & Diving tag)
I also notice that the typing font while typing your answer is also bigger (which I like).
