God created the chicken (ha! got around that one) first.
The glass is half full (just because).
And, yes, it makes a sound, cuz you must have hearing receptors to complete the sound wave cycle, and there are animals/bugs around with ears...
Okay, throw something else at me.

1. The chicken obviously came first when all of the other creatures on the Earth were created. Then, came the egg, the means by which the chicken kept its species alive.
2. It all depends on what kind of person you are. If you tend to be a more postivie person always looking at the bright side of things then it is half full. If you are more of a negative person then the glass is half empty. For me, it's half full.
3. Of course the tree makes a sound! Even if no one heard it, that doesn't mean that it doesn't make a noise. Every tree that falls makes a noise even if it is just a simple rustle of leaves.

1. The Egg. It had to because the Chicken would be a mutation from it's predecessor, which would have to have come from an egg as well.
2. Half Full. To be Empty is to have nothing. To be half of nothing, is nothing. Therefore, it must be half full.
3. It would make a sound based on scientific fact, and no sound based on philosophical theory. The question is - would anyone really care if it fell or not?
