I have been best friends with this guy for over a year. And we talk about EVERYTHING. Everytime one of us gets dumped the other one is always there. He goes out of his way to help me with everything and obviously cares about me very much.
Everyone is telling me we are made for each other but neither of us sees it. I have even called him when i was with my ex because we were fighting..........
what do ya'll think?

I guess there is that mutual attraction. And we have talked about it alot. But we both agree that we are just such good friends we don't want to ruin it. Yet we can't stand for the other one to date. LOL

You wont ruin it. Best friends can be life partners no doubt about. PEople might say a million different things. Worse case senario if you break up you will still be friends because you have been friends before ya it will take to mend but you be back.

I would say ask that person jokingly. That could be a nice start.

I think you guys seem like a good pair.

I know that your soul mate can be your best friend, since that is the situation with me, but can your best friend be your soul mate? That depends. There is a difference between loving someone, and being IN love with someone. I believe it's possible, because the person you are in love with should be the person you can tell everything too and share many things. Look inside yourself and discover how you truley feel. Are you jealous when he dates others? And does the jealousy stem from the fact that you want to be with him, or that you you're scared of losing him as a friend if he's seeing someone else.

It's important you know how you feel, becaus you don't want to end such a strong friendship. The same situation occured with me, and we started seeing each other. It lasted a whlie, but then we realized we were better off as friends. But we handled it in such a way that we can still be friends today. Talk to him about it. You'll always wonder if you don't at least bring it up with him.

He could be your soulmate. Not all soulmates are meant to be together. Me and my best friend are exactly the same, but i am maried and have been for 3 years now. If you have "those" feelings and so does he, move on them. It might turn out to be the rest of your life has been in your face but it was too close for you too see it. But make sure yall talk about this at length before u dive in. sex can ruin a friendship. Good luck

Isn't that what you want in a soul mate? A best friend? In my opinion, I think it's best that way. I mean, then you can be totally honest with each other when people who aren't best friends ruin their relationships because they cannot be honest.

I think that you guys may have something for each other. But if you think that you all do just talk to him about it and see what he thinks and if he doesn't see it that way just leave it alone and time will tell
