I rented it yesterday because I had a hunch it would be a waste of money to go see at the theatre and I was right! Yes, there are a few funny parts like a couple of scenes at the fancy dinner with the pastor. The naked wrestling was VERY gross. I have a high tolearance for offensive stuff but this went too far. I love South Park so it's not because I can't handle offensive stuff. The Jewish jokes Cartman makes are funny on Borat, they were really offensive. I only watched up till the naked wrestling, does it get any better???? No wonder Kid Rock was mad at Pamela for being in such an ignorant movie! What are your opinions? Are there are funny parts I should fast forward to after the naked wrestling that are not so nasty? Could you imagine kids watching this movie? They should have given it a much higher rating or deleted some material (like nasty men simulating "69" while in bed!)! What's wrong with our country?????

I had a pretty good idea it would have been a waste of even a rental fee. thanks for confirming it.

It was funny, but not as good as I expected....
I think that if you never saw Da Ali G show, and never saw Borat before, the movie might have been great.
But for those of us who had already seen some of Borat's antics, the movie was a bit disappointing.

The hotel room was too funny!! especially the subtitles!!

I thought it was stupid, but I wasn't offended by it the way you seem to be. I laughed a few times, but mostly I was bored. It didn't feel like a movie, but more like what Saturday Night Live would look like if it was on HBO late at night. I wasn't impressed.

It had like two funny scenes. It was not funny though. Getting stupid people to say stupid things is not difficult, nor funny. I'm not sure why people thought it was so great. It was just stupid and tried so hard to be offensive and shocking that it just seemed pathetic.

OH my god you people...get your heads out of you politically correct ******* will for f*ck's sake.!!

Borat was the funniest movie i have seen in a long time and Sasha Baron Cohen is a comedic genius (ahem...and Jewish by the way!!) It wasn't just him getting stupid people to say stupid stuff" - you all seem to manage just fine without him. Most of the comments in that movie were racist, sexist, anti-Semitic nonsense oh and by the way IT'S CALLED SATIRE you pea brained morons.

"I prefer stuff I have seen on TV because it's safe and I don't have to think about it or worry that I might upset someone by laughing at it" Rubbish...utter rubbish.

It was a funny movie and if you can't see past the haze of the media frenzy of litigation bullsh!t around it then you are too stupid to be going to see movies, you have no sense of judgment...please don't spout your ultra left-wing junk at me thank you...don't try and think for me OK!

Alot of people in my life enjoy this kind of humor. They also enjoyed Napoleon Dynamite and Dumb & Dumber. But I guess I must have a different type of humor because it doesn't really entertain me. I much more enjoy sarcastic humor like on House or Boston Legal.

Perhaps you were offended because that was the intent of the movie.
