Well geezerbi you answered. Most said the world was flat up untill a few hundred years ago,It is only an Idea.Every thing goes full circle in the end so why not space? Can one of you boffs run this by Steven Hawkins, give him a laugh, if nothing else..........

You've been beaten to it. Lots of scientists believe the same. When the universe runs out of steam, it'll collapse into a "big crunch". Then there'll be another big bang.

1) Addressing a group of people as "eggheads" and then expecting them to take time to answer you (for free, at that) doesn't seem like too smart of an idea.
2) This isn't a theory you have. It is a hypothesis.
3) "Proof", being a deductive process of absolutely certainty, is something left to mathematics. We can certainly test against a hypothesis though to see if it withstands scrutiny. That's how theories are developed.
4) What do you mean by "come full circle"? If you mean that the universe will eventually collapse back ("the big crunch") and start a second big bang, that idea has been discounted in recent years. There isn't enough room here to explain why, let alone in pure layman's terms, but if you read up on cosmology you should find some answers.

No that camp man or woman who's thick as mince annoys me, CJ what ever his call is. The practice spotter is the worst for waffling nonsense, yet they actually in reality have 2 'eggheads' so that you'll discover why the others attempt to save up

The Universe is only a sphere if critical mass is over 1. Anyway, the big bang was caused from the infinitly dense infinitly hot singularity that are Universe was. It was so high pressured that it exploded into the Universe we know today. A big bang can't occur when the Universe is low pressured and cold.

I no no.
My egghead is expanding all the time. One day it WILL burst.
The universe is not a square, nor is it flat. It is Triangular.
I would prove it, but no one is giving me funding for it.
I think we are all heading for the big squeeze.
Uncomfortable yes, but better than a big crunch.
What's a cad?

eggheads?
maybe you should watch what your saying ,
full circle , I can't go with your idea, its so not true, the universe is expanding all the time , and the big bang was when the earth was made

All measurements of the velocity of objects in the universe point to the fact that the expansion rate is increasing and it will expand for all time. You can't argue with data.

I really do not understand what you are saying. What are you trying to prove? What is this theory of a full circle?

I always look to nature and the many life cycles that recycle everything. Don't worry it will not be soon.
