I think that a lot of people realize that I am not comparing Britney Spears to Kurt Cobain, talentwise. Notice, that I said "less talented" version of Kurt Cobain. By this I am referring to the meteoric rise to fame, the erratic behavior, and the rehab. Kurt Cobain was in rehab shortly before he killed himself, and Britney reportedly tried to kill herself in rehab.

No, Cobain actually had talent - that is, before he wasted his life on drugs.
I personally don't think that Britney had a lot of talent, other than being eye candy and having hit songwriters and producers make her sound good. When she releases an album of her own songs, then I'll give it a fair shot.
