The Tequila business is tightly controlled. You don't say where you are, but information about trade with Mexico would be available from the US Department of Commerce. If you are just bringing back a jug, just dummy up at the border.

i think it depends on how may bottles you are planning to bring back... are you planning to start a busiess? or is it for you alone?
