I can't say that I would do that,.. as in annihilate if from this day forward, BUT if I could go back in time and were able to prevent it from EVER coming INTO existence,... I WOULD be very tempted to do so.
Thinking on this a little,.. maybe if I were able to "push a button" to make the TV only capable of handling 3 or 4 channels of programming,... I'm almost certain I could do THAT. I believe that the quality of programming would increase if the there were a more limited, (but NATURAL, not mandated) access on part of the industry.
'better stop here,.. I could go on & on,..

No. I'm not actually a great fan of telly, but of course there are some good programmes on. And things like planet earth or meerkat manor are brilliant. Can't get enough of them!

Absoulutly. TV kills braincells. Not to mention the obesity rate in this country because all people do is sit on the couch and put away big macs. I am a believer that technology is slowly choking the human race. (As I type on my computer:-)

No, it balances that side of the house.
No, it has some positive uses - news, teaching tools, music, PBS.
I'd get rid of the useless, mindless shows that belittle people.
