I mean as a tax paying American that voted on false information which lead to the mass slaughter of innocent people, don't you wish that you would have voted for the other guy 7 years ago? Al Gore wouldn't have invaded Iraq. We could have had universal health care and a really good boost in higher education grants for our young people. Instead we have a dead end war and a greater division between the classes.

Most of the people I know of were aware of the possibility of war before signing the employment contract. I'm not saying that the war is right...only that they accepted that possibility as a condition of their service. Which by the way they get paid for just like any other job.

2004 I was able to vote for the first time. I voted wisely. Didnt get my vote though. And YES it bothers me!!! I cant say how many fellow classmates that I was friends with that have been lost already over there. They just wanted to pay for college! :(

We also might have had an empowered Al Qaeda, and taxes out the yin yang.

It bothers me a lot. At the same time, and this is no jab at men/women in the military or their spouses, it is THEIR choice to be in the military.

I would be more outraged if we were still drafting.

Yeah, boy, we'd all be millionaires and own six BMW's and three Lexuses, and we'd all live in mansions and everybody would get government grants for whatever they wanted. Oh, yeah, and free ice cream. Dang it, I wish we'd have elected algore.

every single war is questionable. but that doesn't mean that it isn't necessary. many people don't see a point to it right now, but in the future, believe me everyone will see that it had to be done.
