Do they have to plug into a socket every so often, is it done through the news media, or are they so evolved they have developed a kind of ESP like ants?

I think if we could figure out how to tap into this source, we might be able reach these poor devils. I think I could develop a mechanism... wait, it's crazy but it just might work!

It is partly the news media. They get marching orders from NPR and CBS every day. Don't forget that on college campus they are taught that 'freedom of speech' means that by shouting down someone who disagrees with you, you are proved right. Have you ever heard them shouting down someone who disagrees with them? I have, it sounds a lot like the bleating of a thousand sheep.
We have all seen them do this to Ann Coulter, the Minutemen, Condi Rice, etc, but I wonder if Cons have ever done this to a lib they didn't agree with? If any of you libs can find where this has happened, let me know!

See, you are way off the mark. As it turns out, the entire right wing seems to agree with each other a lot more than the left. It's as though most Republicans have a solid set of standard opinions and stances, while the left wing is "everybody else", but we liberals have no cohesion! We can't get along with each other, because there are so many different beliefs on different issues! That's why we've been having a hard time in politics.
If we had a hive mind, we would get things done!

Poor Norm, what flavor kool aid are you drinking today? Not sure, well wait for the GOP spin masters to serve it up to you. Your question describes most of the Republicans that I know. Sounds like you are inside the ant hill/hive/

Good people all try to respond to the promptings of the Holy Ghost to know what is right and what God would expect of them. Bad people do equally well listening to the promptings and temptations of the adversary. Thus, good people have one source of behavior motivation and bad people also have one source of behavior motivation. I will leave it to you to decide who the good and bad people might be.

It starts at the schools. They echo the open-minded Professors. Then, as they start making money, they become conservatives. The best way to cure a liberal is the Federal Tax Code!

How does anybody with intelligence support the current administration? Do you like being a part of a losing team (Mission Accomplished!)? Do you like being associated with career criminals? Do you like hanging around Nam-dodging National Guard Flyboy cowards and draft deferrment chickenhawks? Do you like people who override career 4 star generals and run a war into the ground, waste 3200 lives, spend a trillion bucks, and have almost nothing to show for it? Do you like no-bid contract cronyism, wasted tax payer money, and troops without flak jackets and armored Humvees?

Go back to your Rush Limbaugh "I'm an Independent Thinker" talk show about Oxy Contin and why druggies are scum (except balding white men named Rush).

Its the liberal new media, they all connect to it each night on the couch while they eat and are given their nightly briefing on how to support terror, ruin the United States, fight for criminals and illegals rights, etc.

Actually you have the wrong group of people the rethuglicans plug into Faux News for their daily fix of nonsense in order to continue the blind march forward into darkness

Are you saying this to point out that hate-radio is a far superior method for hive-like communication?

I will agree with you, talking points barely make it out of "water boy" Limbaugh's mouth and I start seeing them here.

Much more efficient than independent thinking in that way
