how do i put buckles on my irish dance hardshoes so that they stay in place??

Take them to a shoe shop and have them put on professionally so they won't come off while dancing.

Hi! depending in what type of buckles you have, there are different ways of keeping them on. Some girls tie knots around the backs as they are lacing their shoes to keep them in place. I personally stay away from buckles because they really draw attention to the feet and if you make even a small mistake, or don't quite turn out just so during a particular move, it highlights it that much more =P
