nero v7 or if u want a free burner
burn4free is a great piece of freeware and does DVD and CD.
Wont burn movies yet, you will need a diffirent burner for that

Pick the cheapest one from a company you've heard of... There isn't alot that differentiates a $30 and $130 dvd-r other than the software bundle that comes with it.

I use the free version of DVD Shrink to copy DVDs or you can use Nero

I tried them all I ended up with APLUS DVD COPY you can download a copy from http://www.download.com/ You can copy about 3 dvd then you have to bye it. I spent days downloading diferent ones this one is so simple and it takes about 20min to copy a dvd

any of the Plextor current 7xx model line. Pick the one that is best for your PC configuration.
