First off I know there is no problems with my headphones. Ok One of my earbuds has gone silent. Do I need to buy the replacement headphone jack module?

Oh and one more thing, the only way they both work is if I don't push the headphones all the way into to the jack.

If you are still using your standard iPod headphones, than your latter problem seems odd.

To be honest though, it would probably be easier if you just went out and purchased an aftermarket set of headphones. Trying to repair your current ones will cost more.

If you are looking for an amazing brand of headphones, I strictly use Sennheiser.
