As much as I admire the second life game, I've decided not to go on with it because its too easy for me to let it consume all my time. Altho I can see the tremendous potential of it, and admire its ingenuity, I think I'm better off without it.

It is extremely addictive, but so much fun! I guess it all depends on your real life as to whether or not SL becomes a problem. I would imagine it's pretty great for people who don't have much of a real life though.

I love SL and spend alot of time there, but it doesn't take away from my real life, as I have the time to spare.

I haven't tried Second Life, but I hear it can be very addictive. There are millions of registered "players". If you think it's a problem for you, then it probably is. Cudos to you for recognizing the issue.

I used to play it but haven't been on for months for the same reasons. Did you hear today that Sony are working on a virtual world game for the PS3 that is supposed to be better than SL, I must admit I am looking forward to it!!
