i'm not on it, but my friend took it 12 years ago once and got pregnant right away. her daughter is the smartest little girl i've ever met and she's perfect. she had one child before without fertility help and when they spent 7 years trying they decided to go on it. like i said she took and the next time she was so supposed to get her period she didn't and boom she was prego. i've heard its the best. a bunch of my friends have used it when trying for their 2nd kid and it's always worked for them. the biggest thing they told me that helped a lot was relaxing and not worrying and just go about your normal everyday activities with minimal stress. besst wishes and greatest luck.

Their are no known facts that clomid causes premature birth nor birth defects..
Clomid does not work for everyone the same way, for some it woman they got pregnant the first month taking clomid and some 3 months and so on..The doctors say give it at least 6 months at the most, after 6 months if you still have not gotten pregnant then they will move on to another fertility treatment.
As for kids yes you do have a higher chance of conceiving multiples but you only have about a 20% chance.
Most woman i know who have taken clomid conceived just one but i have heard of some woman who conceived twins, very very rarely do you conceive triplets and so on though it has been noted

I took Clomid for five days begining on day five of my period as instructed by our OBGYN. It was my first dose and it was 50 mg per day. My periods were irregular and I was ovulating so late in the month it was difficult to have enough time for implantation before my cycle began again. That is the reason why we chose to take Chlomid. I would advise ayone who wanted to take fertility drugs to use it as a LAST resort. I became pregnant shortly after my first dose. However, I miscarried during week five -six. The doctor does not believe that it was due to chlomid... just a natural occurance that happens. In any event... it is a tragic loss for me and my husband who have been trying to have a child for over a year now. Whatever you choose to do... do it without regret and know that it is a risk no matter if you take or don't take chlomid. I do know that taking Chlomid in no way has been found or linked to any more or less birth defects than just pregancy alone without Chlomid.

We did 3 rounds of Clomid. We have a beautiful little girl. Everyone was convinced we'd have multiples, but there was just her. She is totally normal, no birth defects and is developing right on schedule (she's almost 14 months old) We are considering doing Clomid again because of the luck we had that last time.
