I'm not sure how long my contract was but I know I've had the phone & the plan for about 3 years. I currently have T-Mobile and want to switch to Cingular.

Anyone know how much it'll cost me to tell T-Mobile to kiss my behind?

You should be out of the contract if it has been 3 years. The longest contract they do is 2 years. If you extended the contract at any time within the last year, it will be $200 to cancel early. Just call T-Mobile to find out if you are still under contract. If you're not, there will be no cancellation fee. If you want to keep your number, you'll need to keep the account open for Cingular to get the number from T-Mobile. Once they get the number transfered, the T-Mobile account will automatically be closed.

It depends on when you signed your contract. If you can find it, the fine print on the back will state something about Contract Termination fees.

Beyond that, when I left TMobile, it was a $175 termination fee, though it may have gone up, I can nearly gaurantee it ahsn't gone down, so expect at least that much.

no longer something in case you do it correct. in case you study the advantageous print of your settlement, your cellular corporation has the right to terminate your settlement at any time for certain motives. One is in the experience that your roaming call situations are more desirable than your community call situations. Fifty-one % to be suited. ordinary thanks to break the settlement and get it terminated. call up movie telephone on a weekend (loose air time, correct?) and go away your telephone on for the weekend. merely allow it proceed to recycle by each of the crap. (movie telephone is the optimal decision, because it received't draw close up on you) because telephone businesses pay the community section code roaming expenditures, and because you're utilising the phone in the course of the loose era, you're costing them money. And at the same time as your bill hits 51% or extra, a red flag is positioned on the account and also you're service comes lower than evaluate. do this for one or 2 months and the cellular corporation received't hesitate to deliver you a "Sorry, yet you suck and we do not opt for your corporation anymore" letter. that is the specifics. a million) It must be a community roaming fee. in case you enter in to the lengthy distance component of a decision, you're screwed. you merely made them a equipment of money. you'd be advantageous in case you dial the community movie telephone service, merely make positive you're in a roaming section (set your telephone up the furthest away you could from factor A to point B. that many times works.) For me, I contact the movie telephone in Chattam. it truly is an hour'schronic from my homestead. 2) you'll have the roaming fee more desirable than 51%. this implies you would possibly want to end utilising the cellular telephone until eventually that is an emergency. 3) you'll have loose weekends.
