From school days, I'd say, A Day No Pigs Would Die, and Where the Red Fern Grows.... both really good, touching books. A Lion, a Witch and a Wardrobe was good, and Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry.... then of course, R.L. Stine, and all his Fear Street books.... I could go on and on!

Christopher Pike and R.L. Stine (their YA books) and Island of the Blue Dolphins, Pinballs, Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, And Then There Were None, When the Tripods Came, Bridge to Terrabithia, Alvin Schwartz's scary stories collection, Pandora's Box, etc., etc. I love reading and always have.
I love Jurassic Park. I first read that book when I was in the 5th or 6th grade.
