Yeah, especially that Antonella girl. (That was a joke, people!)

It definitely has not been as good as some other years...I especially liked last year. I thought there was a lot of originality and variety. This year I haven't seen enough of that and so it hasn't really been as good for me.

So far the girls have more talent but I prefer the guys for some reason...I always have, but maybe that is because I am a girl lol. I'm really into Chris Richardson...I think he's got a great vibe to him and stuff. For the girls I really like Melinda Doolittle. She's a great singer and seems very humble and appreciative.

Yes, it's lost it's spark for me. None of the contestants are giving me goosebumps when they sing like last year. The guys are mediocre at best, and the girls all sound so alike they might as well be singing the same freaking song. With all the gospel / boring ballads, it sure sounds like they are. Beautiful female vocals, but I can hear the same stuff at the church down the street. Been finding myself fast forwarding through performances just to see what the judges say. (Love Tivo).

I'm also tired of the double standard issue. Frenchie was disqualified for the very same thing Antonella is being allowed to stay for. So, AI is saying to the American daughters that it's ok to rub your genitals on WWII memorials, you have to be beautiful to achieve success, and use that beauty to your advantage rather than working for anything in life. Those who fought for our rights to NOT be treated as sex symbols are probably rolling over in their graves.

I'll be cheering from my couch tonight if Antonella finally gets the boot she deserved weeks ago.

I think it might get better later in the season. What I don't like is that most all of them have had some kind of experience in the past on the stage, like back up singing or being a lead singer in a band. I don't think that gives the people with no experience a chance. It puts the ones with natural talent up against the ones that has had voice lessons for years. Some really great singers comes from humble beginnings, like Elvis.

Not really...I mean, ok, we haven't seen anything exciting with the guys (with the exception of Blake Lewis...love him!) but the girls are awesome!

I only watch it when my show is on commercial and that's only if it's the girls' turn. The guys really slack this year.
