I am stationed with my husband for AIT and we have off-post housing. If we divorce and I move back home, is he still allowed to live off-post, or will the DS's make him move back to the barracks? Who can I call on-post to find out for sure?

He will be forced to move back on post and stay in the barracks. A special exception was made for you so he could live off post, with you in the picture then he just becomes another AIT (Advanced Individual Training) student and all of them live on base in the barracks where they are subject to inspections and all the other "joys" of Army life.

If you divorce and have NO kids, then he has to go back to the barracks. Period.

Housing privileges are for soldiers with family members, so if he has no family, and no costudy of kids, he will go to the barraks.

Only swnior NCO's can have BAH entitlemenst as a bachelor, but if your husband is in AIT, he won;t reciceive BAH.

Good luck

Why would you want him back in the barracks are you jealous and afraid he'll find some else and move them in with him. If I didn't care anything about him enough to stay with him, I'd just leave well enough alone. I think I feel a little a jealousy coming on.
