I see in some military articles they are preparing to mine the Gulf. That is just great more high gas prices and war.

They are Muslim and there is a Jihad, this should answer your question. I belive Iran's president appears to be argumentative and headstrong, and probably afraid in his own mind that he is the next target of the American Government. After all, we do have quite a number of our troops right at his border! How would you feel if the police came to your next door neighbor and seized their property, and were standing at the edge of your lawn looking at your house, pointing and talking to each other. I don't imagine you would feel very comfortable and safe at that point. I'm not defending him, just giving you a different point of view.
