Libby is radioactive untill he has passed thru the entire appeal process. NO point in even discussing it until then; and at than point, reviewing the case and making an unpopular decision will be a tough moral call.

Had Bush pardoned Libby, you are able to wager Democrats, and others, could were screaming for investigations into unlawful activities accomplished by technique of the Bush administration. Scooter Libby is playing his function as scapegoat so human beings in Bush's inner circle, examine Karl Rove, are not placed on trial for treason. Rove is the guy who, in retaliation, gave up Valerie Plame's id because Plame's husband thoroughly disproved the Niger yellow-cake uranium declare. by technique of how, neither Libby, nor his attorneys, petitioned Bush for a pardon.

Bush is immoral whether or not he pardons Libby. If Bush were a moral guy, he'd root out the bums in his administration. Libby is a fall guy, true, but he didn't have to participate in this sad episode of executive branch malfeasance. It's interesting how guys with the last name of Libby, working for crazy Republican administrations, end up going to jail :)

Bottom line Bush will go down in history as an arrogant, immoral, incompetent, lying bum that threw away our chance to achieve some valuable geopolitical objectives because he was too cheap and stubborn to listen to those around him who were level headed. Bush is immoral, period!

I think he would be immoral if he DOES pardon Libby, not the other way around. Libby obstructed justice and intentionally lied to the independent investigator. That's a major crime, since as I recall, we impeached Bill Clinton over it, and send ordinary citizens to jail over it. Libby shouldn't have done the crime if he couldn't do the time. Bush pardoning him will only serve to tarnish the president's reputation, and make it look like he too is covering something up.

Let's talk immoral!! On Willie Clinton's last day in office he pardoned 140 felons!! A few examples...Edgar and Vonnie Jo Gregory..Convicted of bank fraud..Hillary's little brother(Tony) intervened and helped get them sprung!!Dorothy Rivers,an Officer of the Rainbow Coalition(Jesse Jackson's tax dodge) convicted of embezzling 1.2 mil...Probably the worst of the bunch is Mel Reynolds..former liberal, leftie that was convicted of Sexual Assault,Child Porn, and obstruction of Justice!!How could anyone be pardoned for that(political, quid pro Quo) Oh!, and for all you eco-frauds..One person pardoned for violating the Lacey Act! What's that?? the Bald Eagle Endangerment Act!!! Bill pardoned everyone from sexual predators to eagle killers!! NICE JOB,Bill!!

I considered Bush immoral a long time ago. Whether or not he pardons Libby is really immaterial to me. Libby, Cheney, Rove, Bush and the whole gang ought to do time. Better yet, send them to teh front lines in Iraq since they think our Iraq policy is so effective.

Libby is a Convicted Felon.
His crime endangers the ability of the CIA to prosecute the War On Terror.
That makes him a Felon and a Traitor.
Cheyney knew and was part of the conspiracy, so he is also a felon and a traitor.
If Bush pardons them he will show that he is of the same ilk.

Nah, The justice system will vindicate libby. If Dennis Collins is a sampling of the leftists that were on the jury he shouldn't have any trouble getting it retried.

Bush should be considered immoral for ordering the invasion and occupation of a country that didn't attack us.

If he doesn't pardon Scooter, then he wouldn't be immoral - he would be stupid, because I can gaurantee a few months in the federal pen, and Scooters gonna be singing like a bird.

If he does pardon him, then it looks especially fishy. And this administration already has enough under-the-table deals going on to keep them busy as it is.
